The screw press (volute dewatering machine) compresses sludge from 95–99% moisture down to 75–82% — fully automatic, footprint 40% smaller than belt presses, energy use 30% lower. The industrial pump line covers submersible, centrifugal, and dosing pumps for water intake, transfer, and chemical injection across the same treatment plants.

15,000 m³/d capacity. High-viscosity dyeing sludge, 2 × SD-Midi 201 in series. Cake moisture 80–82%, fit for thermal co-processing at cement kilns.

Overview

The SD-Pro 302 is our standard-capacity flagship, designed for daily 10,000–30,000 m³ municipal sewage plants and industrial sludge dewatering applications. Ships as a complete skid — connect power, feed sludge, run. PLC-controlled with HMI touchscreen, automatic ring-stack cleaning, automatic back-pressure adjustment, fault self-diagnosis. Optional IoT module for remote monitoring.

Five core advantages

1. Fully automatic, low operator requirement

PLC + auto-cleaning + auto pressure adjustment. The full dewatering process runs without an operator on station. Fault self-diagnosis, audible/visual alarms, live display of current, differential pressure, and flow. One operator per shift is enough for routine inspection.

2. Compact footprint, modular delivery

Main body, flocculation tank, metering pump, and control panel are integrated on a single skid. Footprint is 40%+ smaller than a belt press of the same capacity. The whole unit ships in a standard 20 ft container — install in 2–3 days on site.

3. Self-cleaning ring stack, no clogging

The screw shaft rotation drives the moving ring stack to self-clean. Ring gap adjustable from 0.5–2.0 mm. Handles oily sludge, fibrous sludge, activated sludge, and anaerobic digested sludge without ring clogging.

4. Low energy, low operating cost

Compared to belt presses: no flushing water (saves water), no high-power motor (saves energy), low filter-cloth wear (saves consumables). Total operating cost ~30% lower for the same capacity.

5. Remote monitoring (optional)

IoT module connects to plant SCADA, mobile app, or cloud dashboard. Operations team can check every unit's runtime, ring pressure differential, and current from the office or while traveling. Early warnings three months before failure in our reference installs.

Material standards

All wetted parts in SUS 304 stainless steel. 316L optional for corrosive sludge. Frame in carbon steel with anti-corrosion coating. Electrical components from Schneider / Siemens. Materials comply with JIS G4303 / G4304 (Japan), ASTM A240 (US). Material certificates available on request — important for Japanese end-clients.

Case 1 — Suzhou municipal sewage plant phase 3

Location: Suzhou, Jiangsu, China

Online since: September 2020

Treatment capacity: 80,000 m³/d

Process: A²/O + sludge dewatering

Sludge properties: Primary + excess activated sludge, 97–98% feed moisture

Equipment: 4 × SD-Pro 302 screw press in parallel + PAM auto-dosing skid + WQ submersible pumps for sludge transfer. Optional remote monitoring module on all 4 units.

Results: Cake moisture steady at 78–80%, solid recovery ≥ 95%, single-unit average runtime 18 h/day. Compared to phase 2's belt press: water saving 60%, electricity saving 35%, filter-cloth replacement from 2 times/month to 1 time/quarter. As of Aug 2026: 50,000+ cumulative runtime hours, no major repair on any of the 4 units.

Case 2 — Shaoxing dyeing industrial park

Location: Shaoxing, Zhejiang, China

Online since: May 2022

Treatment capacity: 15,000 m³/d

Process: Physicochemical + biological + sludge dewatering

Sludge properties: Dyeing sludge (high viscosity, dye content, alkaline pH), 96–97% feed moisture

Equipment: 2 × SD-Midi 201 in series (high-viscosity variant with enlarged screw pitch) + PAC + PAM two-stage dosing system + D-series dosing pumps.

Results: 5 m³/h capacity, cake moisture 80–82%, cake suitable for thermal co-processing at cement kilns. Two and a half years of operation with zero ring-stack clogging incidents — operations team has specifically praised the self-cleaning ring design.

Case 3 — Jakarta food processing plant upgrade

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Online since: March 2023

Treatment capacity: 5,000 m³/d

Process: Dissolved air flotation + A/O + sludge dewatering

Sludge properties: Slaughterhouse wastewater (high oil, high protein), 96–98% feed moisture

Equipment: 2 × SD-Pro 302 (316L custom version for oil corrosion) + WQ submersible pumps + D-series dosing pumps + remote monitoring (4G connectivity to Jakarta HQ).

Results: Cake moisture 78–80%, ring gaps stayed clean even with high-oil sludge. Remote monitoring surfaced 3 early warnings in year one (bearing temperature drift) — all resolved via remote guidance to local team, zero unplanned downtime.
